Industrial units are a classic poor-coverage case: the metal structure, roof and racking block the mobile signal. This affects scanners, PDAs, logistics terminals and the safety of lone workers.

Warehouses and industrial units are one of the worst scenarios for mobile signal. The metal structure, sandwich roofing, sheet-metal doors and the metal racking itself act like a cage that blocks the waves. Even if there is good coverage just outside the unit, inside it can be practically nil, especially in the central area and at the docks.

This is not just an annoyance: it affects barcode scanners, logistics PDAs, data terminals and the safety of lone workers who need to be able to call in case of an accident. We measure the signal at docks, aisles, offices and restrooms to size the solution properly.

Depending on the area and height of the unit, the solution may be a powerful homologated repeater with several indoor antennas or, in very large units, a DAS system. In both cases we work with CE-marked, AGC equipment, coordinating authorisation with your operator so the installation is legal.

The goal is reliable coverage across the whole unit: scanners that do not lose connection, logistics systems that work, and any worker able to call from any point. We serve warehouses and industrial estates in Alicante, Elche and across the province.

An industrial unit is, electrically speaking, a metal box: sheet roofing, a steel frame and often sandwich panels with a metal layer inside. The outdoor signal barely penetrates that assembly, and the little that comes in through the doors is lost as soon as the racking starts, which acts as a second barrier inside.

So coverage in a unit is not solved with a single powerful point in the middle: it is solved by distributing antennas along the aisles, at the height people work at rather than up at the ridge. If the warehouse layout changes often, we leave provision for additional points so the installation does not have to be redone every time the racking moves.
