CCTV is one of the most effective ways to protect a home, a business or a community. We install indoor and outdoor cameras with night vision, recording and mobile access, so you can see your property in real time wherever you are.

We design the system around the key points to cover — entrances, garage, perimeter — and advise on correct placement to comply with data protection rules. It is much in demand among owners of second homes and holiday properties on the Alicante coast.

We also extend and repair systems already in place: replacing failed cameras, restoring remote access when the configuration was lost, or swapping a recorder that has run out of storage.

You may record your own property; you may not record the public street or a neighbour's property. A camera pointed at the entrance hall, the pavement or the garden next door is one of the most frequent causes of complaints between private individuals, and "it only points at my door" does not hold if the frame captures more. During installation we set the angle and, where needed, apply privacy masks over the areas that must stay out of shot.

Two obligations are often forgotten: the visible information sign at the entrances, and the retention period for the footage, which the LOPDGDD limits to one month unless it evidences a criminal act. In residents' associations, installing cameras in communal areas also requires a resolution of the owners' meeting with the majority the Horizontal Property Act demands.

We prefer cameras powered over cable with PoE rather than wifi wherever the building work allows: a single run carries power and data, there are no batteries to change, and they do not depend on the wifi signal reaching the back of the garage or the perimeter wall. In finished properties, where chasing walls is not an option, we install wifi with well-placed access points.

The other decision is where the footage is stored. A local recorder keeps recording even if the internet drops, whereas a cloud-only system stops recording exactly when it is most needed. If the power goes, neither works: which is why at critical entrances we run the recorder and router from a UPS, keeping the system alive through short outages.
