Office Coverage

When an office or premises has no mobile coverage, staff cannot take calls, mobile-data card readers fail and productivity is lost. We analyse each operator's signal and propose the right legal solution: a homologated repeater or operator femtocell.

We install with CE and AGC equipment, legally and coordinated with your operator, and often complete the work in a single day so your activity is not interrupted.

In offices and premises, poor coverage usually comes from location (ground floors, basements, buildings surrounded by taller ones) and from materials like concrete, heat-treated glass or metal structures. The result is calls dropping in inner rooms, staff going outside to talk, and mobile-data card readers failing.

All of this has a real cost in productivity and client perception. A coverage survey lets us see exactly which areas and operators the signal fails with, to design a solution covering offices, meeting rooms and common areas.

Depending on the outdoor signal level, the best option may be a homologated repeater (if there is some outdoor signal to amplify) or an operator femtocell (if the outdoor signal is very weak but you have good fibre). Both are legal solutions, with homologated equipment and operator coordination.

We aim to carry out the installation with minimal disruption to your activity, often in a single day and outside peak hours if you prefer. On completion, we verify the signal at workstations to make sure the problem is resolved.

In an office, coverage almost never fails uniformly: it fails in two specific places. Meeting rooms, because glass partitions with a solar-control coating and metal framing attenuate the signal far more than a glass wall suggests; and below-ground floors, where nothing arrives by definition.

It is exactly the worst possible combination, because those are the two places where people most need to talk. In the survey we measure room by room rather than giving an average for the floor, which is what leaves a system falling short precisely where it mattered. The answer is usually distributing indoor antennas towards those points, not raising the overall power.
