The electrical panel is the heart of your home's electrical installation. An old or poorly maintained panel can cause fires and fail to protect against electric shocks.

We replace obsolete panels with modern ones featuring high-sensitivity RCDs, calibrated MCBs and transient surge protection.

The consumer unit is the heart of the installation: it groups the protections that prevent fires and shocks. Many older apartments in Alicante still have boards with no RCD or a single main breaker, which no longer meets regulations and is dangerous.

We replace obsolete boards with modular ones featuring RCDs, a breaker per circuit and, where appropriate, a surge protector. We label every circuit so you always know what each switch controls.

If the RCD trips for no apparent reason, you notice a burning smell, the fuses get hot, or you are about to increase power for air conditioning or an electric car, it is time to review the board. Updating it is also required when applying for a certificate on a renovated home.

We carry out the replacement in a few hours, minimising downtime, and provide the electrical certificate confirming the installation meets the REBT.

Changing the panel does not increase the power available to you, and increasing the contracted power does not fix a badly divided panel. They are two different things solving two different problems: contracted power is what lets you run several large appliances at once, and the panel's division is what stops a fault at one point leaving the whole house dark.

The confusion is expensive in both directions. Some people pay for a power increase every month when what they needed was to separate circuits, and others renew the panel expecting the trips to stop when the problem was that the supply was marginal. We measure actual consumption before recommending one or the other.
