Commercial Installation

We carry out the complete electrical installation of commercial premises, offices, units and hospitality in Alicante. We adapt the panel, power lines and lighting to the business activity, with the right power and, when needed, three-phase installation for machinery and high-consumption equipment.

As licensed installers we issue the electrical certificate (CIE) needed to set up the supply and for the opening licence. We work to tight deadlines so the business can open as soon as possible and fix faults fast so the activity does not stop.

The first visit is diagnostic: we look at what the previous business leaves behind, what is usable and what has to be redone. That split between what can be kept and what cannot is usually the biggest difference between quotes.

To get the supply connected you need the electrical installation certificate issued by a licensed installer. Depending on the power and the activity, a design signed by a qualified engineer may also be mandatory: the REBT instruction setting out when a project is required and how the installation is commissioned is ITC-BT-04, and premises open to the public such as hospitality carry additional requirements.

On top of that comes whatever the town hall requires for the opening licence or the responsible declaration, which varies between municipalities. From the first visit we tell you which route applies to you and which documents we will be handing over, so you do not discover mid-works that a step is missing and the opening slips.

In a bar or restaurant the load is dominated by the kitchen, the refrigeration and the air conditioning, and the peaks land exactly during service. That usually calls for three-phase and, above all, a balanced split of the loads across the three phases: one overloaded phase while the other two run light causes trips that look inexplicable. It is a calculation we do beforehand, with the equipment list in hand.

The point most often overlooked is emergency lighting and evacuation signage, mandatory in premises open to the public and checked at inspection. It is also worth separating circuits by area — kitchen, dining room, terrace, sign — so a fault at one point does not leave the whole place dark in the middle of the rush.
