Coverage Maintenance

Over time a mobile coverage system can lose performance: misaligned antennas, old equipment without AGC or changes in the operator network. We check, re-tune and repair repeaters and DAS systems so they work stably and legally again.

We offer one-off maintenance and periodic contracts for businesses, hotels and communities. In every visit we verify the equipment remains homologated and generates no interference.

A repeater or DAS that worked well can start failing over time for several reasons: antennas knocked out of alignment or moved by wind, corroded connectors, old equipment without automatic gain control (AGC), or operator network changes that leave the equipment mis-tuned. The result is calls dropping again and slow data.

In these cases, replacing the unit is not always necessary. We measure the signal again, check the state of the antennas and cabling, and re-tune the gain to restore performance. We only replace equipment when it is genuinely faulty or obsolete.

For hotels, warehouses, offices and property communities we offer periodic maintenance contracts that prevent surprises: scheduled checks, level verification, connection cleaning and preventive component replacement. Coverage stays stable all year without waiting for something to break.

In every visit we also verify the system remains legal: homologated equipment, with AGC and generating no interference. This is key, because a neglected system can end up interfering with the network and exposing you to penalties.

Three things, and none of them announces itself. The outdoor antenna connectors oxidise, especially near the sea, and the loss creeps in gradually; the sealing at cable entries ages in the sun and lets water into the outdoor section; and fixings give with the wind, so a directional antenna ends up pointing a few degrees off.

To that add something outside the installation's control: operators change bands and reassign frequencies over time, and equipment sized for the situation of a few years ago can fall short without anyone having touched anything. Periodic measurement catches all four before they turn into a complaint.
